Education at Ascension is designed to challenge and excite children and adults to build loving relationships with Jesus and others.
Sunday School
Ascension’s Sunday School ministry provides a Christ-centered education led by the Spirit. The ministry seeks to build a mature faith, knowledge, and a life-long bond with Christ and His church in order to share the love of God with others. Sunday School classes are provided for everyone ages 2 through 99 and beyond.

Cub Scout Pack 706 &
Boy Scout Troop 706
Ascension Lutheran sponsors Cub Scout Pack 706. They meet on Monday evenings at 7pm at Tyler Campus.

Open Arms Lutheran Child Development Center
Open Arms is a Christian ministry designed for children 2 weeks - 6 years old. Open Arms also provides after school care for elementary aged children - age 12.

Vacation Bible School
In June, children turning 4 (by September) through those who have finished the 4th grade gather at our Tyler Campus for five mornings of Bible stories, singing, crafts, and fun. Register here.
Ascension Lutheran Preschool
Ascension Lutheran Preschool is a Christian-based preschool located at our Tyler Campus for children ages 3 - 5 years old. There are 2 and 3 day half-day sessions available.
