Education at Ascension is designed to challenge and excite children and adults to build loving relationships with Jesus and others.

Ascension’s Sunday School ministry provides a Christ-centered education led by the Spirit. The ministry seeks to build a mature faith, knowledge, and a life-long bond with Christ and His church in order to share the love of God with others. Sunday School classes are provided for everyone ages 2 through 99 and beyond.

Children’s Church is only offered at our Maple Campus. Children are dismissed from worship to participate in age appropriate classes focused on the study of God’s Word.

>> Vacation Bible School {VBS}
In June, children turning 4 (by September) through those who have finished the 4th grade gather at our Tyler Campus for five mornings of Bible stories, singing, crafts, and fun. Young people who have finished 5th through 8th grades gather later in the summer for Jr. High VBS to celebrate God’s love for them.
>> Cub Scout Pack 706 & Boy Scout Troop 706
Ascension Lutheran sponsors Cub Scout Pack 706. They meet on Monday evenings at 7pm at Tyler Campus.

Ascension Lutheran Preschool is a Christian-based preschool located at our Tyler Campus for children ages 3 - 5 years old. There are 2 and 3 day half-day sessions available.
