Confirmation at Ascension
Confirmation ministry at Ascension is a time for young people to come together to study God’s Word and the faith teachings of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod which are based on God’s Word. The ultimate goal of the Confirmation ministry is for the young person to be able to stand before the congregation and before God to confess their faith in Him as their Lord and Savior.
The first year of the ministry is designed for students entering the 7th grade, with the second year of the ministry designed for students entering the 8th grade. Individuals older than the 7th and 8th grade are welcome to join the classes as well.
​Confirmation Sunday is the first Sunday in May. Please join us as we celebrate with these young people as they confirm their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

Confirmation instruction is held every Wednesday night in conjunction with Ascension’s Common Ground ministry from 6:30pm-7:30pm. It is essential to the growth of our students that they participate regularly in these classes and prepare assigned memory work, Bible readings, and other necessary assignments prior to the class session.
